    An annotated bibliography, by Glenn Ellen Starr Stilling, which provides information on the Lumbee Indians, who mainly inhabit Hoke, Scotland, Robeson, and Cumberland counties in North Carolina. There are also significant Lumbee populations in Greensboro and Charlotte, North Carolina, and Baltimore, Maryland. In the past there were sizeable Lumbee communities in Bulloch County, Georgia [1890-1920] and Detroit, Michigan.
