Ethnic Genealogy Resources
    Arranged By Ethnicity

We all like to think America is a melting pot, but the truth is we are more of a chef salad than fondue. Many Americans acknowledge their birth nation as well as roots from other nations. How many times have we heard, I am French-American, Italian-American, or Irish-Swedish-German-Mexican-American? It seems no matter how many generations away, we cling to the heritage of our "root nations".
These links will assist you in finding your ethnic heritage. Native American and Black Indian ethnic groups listed are on their own page and will open in a new window. If you do not find the nationality that you are searching for, please post a note to California Genealogy Club .
