MAPS

Are you lost in a sea of names and places? Where in the world is _______?
These collections will get you moving in the right direction. People tend to live and die within 50 miles of where they were born. By using maps we can determine where else we may wish to hunt. Also our nation did not just grow into the current counties and states, the lines merged and morphed many times over, so finding someone who lived in Washington territory might mean you will need to check out Oregon's state archives! Some of these maps will bring you current information some are historical and will tell you what places use to be named and the show you the different boundries of county, territory, and state. Happy hunting!
